RenderGuard is committed to your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we handle it. The short version: we collect as little as possible and never sell your data.
The Extension
The RenderGuard VS Code extension does not collect, store, or transmit any data. All analysis runs entirely on your local machine. There is no telemetry, no analytics, and no network calls. Your code never leaves your editor.
The Website
This website (renderguard.dev) does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics. We do not track your browsing behavior.
Contact Form
If you use the contact form on this website, we collect:
- Name — so we know who we're replying to
- Email address — so we can respond to your message
- Message content — the text you submit
This data is submitted to and stored by Netlify, our hosting provider, as part of their Forms service. We use this data solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not share, sell, or use it for marketing purposes.
Data Retention
Contact form submissions are retained in Netlify's systems and may be periodically deleted. We do not maintain a separate database of submissions.

You have the right to:
- Request access to any personal data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time
